Gerber Synchron spreaders feature a unique cradle feed system that assures tension-free spreading of even the most difficult fabrics, at speeds up to 100 m/min. (110 yds./min.).The cradle feed system with electric cradle tilt offers easy and fast loading/unloading and threading/rewinding of fabric rolls up to 1000 kg (2200 lbs.), and eliminates the need for a cloth bar.

A touch screen interface can be attached as an option to all Synchron spreaders.The touch screen combines the operator panel with data transfer from the Gerber CAD grading and marking system or some other CAD system. Marker information, such as length of spread and definition of splice marks, can be transferred on a floppy disk into the touch screen computer. Other information, such as number of plies, can be keyed in.
